Our self-guided ATV rentals put you in control of your desert adventure. Pick up your vehicle at our Cave Creek area location, receive a thorough safety briefing and vehicle operation lesson, and head out on the trails at your own pace. Whether you want a quick 1-hour spin or a full day exploring remote desert washes and rocky ridgelines, you set the schedule.
Our ATVs are street-legal, meaning you can ride on roads to reach trailheads and then head off-road into the Sonoran Desert. This gives you maximum flexibility to explore the Cave Creek area, with access to trails near the Tonto National Forest. Perfect for beginners, families, and experienced riders alike — no prior off-road experience required.
The trails near our Cave Creek location wind through classic Sonoran Desert terrain — sandy washes, rocky outcrops, and open desert flats with views of the surrounding mountains. You will ride past towering saguaro cacti, barrel cacti, mesquite trees, and palo verde trees. Keep an eye out for desert wildlife including coyotes, jackrabbits, roadrunners, and hawks.
The closest trailhead is about 15 minutes from our rental location in the Tonto National Forest. The best months for riding are October through April, but early morning rentals are available year-round. We are easily accessible from Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the North Valley.
To rent an ATV you must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license. A credit card is required for the security deposit. All riders must complete a signed liability waiver before pickup. We provide everything else — helmet, goggles, safety briefing, and trail maps are all included with your rental.
